The 80KA per phase PTX080 and PTE080 models of the Protector are designed to safeguard sensitive and mission critical equipment. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS:

DESCRIPTION: Parallel configured, 80kA per phase, 40kA per mode Multi-Circuit Transient Voltage Surge Suppressor (MCTVSS) with remote alarm capability.
APPLICATION: Location categories B and A, high to low exposure level, sensitive and critical load applications, including distribution boards, final circuit distribution boards and critical load centres.
WARRANTY: 20-Year Free Replacement.

MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

ENCLOSURE: IP66 rated steel weatherproof enclosure.
MOUNTING: Internally threaded conduit fittings with user selected placement in up to four positions and multi-point mounting feet.
CONNECTION: Standard products include approx. 450mm factory fitted stranded cable #10 AWG (≈ 6mm2).

ELECTRICAL AND PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS:

CIRCUIT DESIGN: PTX and PTE units feature parallel configured, Threshold Suppression Network utilising Transient Control System design, circuit encapsulation and Advanced Surge Path Technology. PTE units also incorporate multi-stage, hybrid Active Tracking Network (ATN).
PROTECTION MODES: All Mode: Line to neutral & line to line (normal mode) and line to earth & neutral to earth (common mode).
SUPPLY FREQUENCY: 50-420Hz (50-60Hz with ATN option).
RESPONSE TIME: PTX ≤ 1 nanosecond, PTE Active Tracking Network < 1 nanosecond.
EMI/RFI ATTENUATION: Up to 39dB normal mode, up to 42dB common mode.
CAPACITANCE: 2μF per mode (PTE Models). Note: For applications where earth leakage current may be of concern, please cut enhanced N-E ATN

CIRCUIT DIAGNOSTICS: Statscan circuit diagnostics, 1 LED indicator per phase, normally on. Remote alarm via Form C, N/O and N/C volt-free relay contacts, with internal terminal connections (0.5mm2 to 1.0mm2). Optional S.M.A.R.T. diagnostics with surge counter & event history recording.
